  The light of asia is more like the storm of asia The food i ordered from here was a joke, the rice was crispy and hard, our naan bread wasn't cooked all the way through and doughy the poppadoms were just a pile of crumbs in a brown bag, the onion bhajis just had no taste to them at all then going onto the main meal my wife's chicken tikka Masala was a greeny/yellow and tasted more like a plain old curry sauce that they had tried to palm off as what she had ordered and the chicken madras had no taste very plain again but had a bit of spice to it. We even rang up to see about getting it sorted out and all we got was "what would you like us to do" and "bag it up and bring it in, so we can change it" even though it was a delivery. i wouldn't advise any one to order from here as it was a large disappointment for us and even trying to get a refund is impossible, just stay well away

  What a shame, this used to be a good restaurant. I ordered a takaway for a treat for my family. The food was dreadful, the rice was crispy, curry revolting, poppadoms tasted like they has been cooked in rancid oil basically it was awful only fit for the bin and that's exactly where it went. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

  Hi, we been to Light Of Asia restaurant on Thursday it was quite Busy.
  Waiter was very friendly and treating well. Food was amazing, tried NAN,Mutton Curry,tandoori Chicken and Papadom .
  Brilliant I recommend you guys its Good to try..

  This is a well established restaurant in the top of town and run by Tom and his friend. Food here is traditional indian and portions are generous. Try their mutton methi dopiaza and the tandoori is exceptionally tasty. Service is efficient but be prepared to wait if the restaurant is busy as food is cooked fresh. The white house wine is reasonable and waiters are friendly and helpful! Very popular with local regulars.
